Leadership Responsibilities

  • Chair the Board of Trustees, providing strategic oversight and governance.
  • Steer the charity through its next stage of development and growth.
  • Shape the future of the Hall, develop the business, and set its strategic direction.
  • Ensure financial viability and maintain a positive, inclusive culture.
  • Work with the Trustee Board and staff team (Hall & Event Manager, Treasurer, Company Secretary) to support decision‑making.
  • Attend up to six scheduled Trustee Meetings per year, plus additional Committee Meetings for finances and operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Enthusiastic individual with a wide variety of skills and experience in leadership, management, and organisational development.
  • Experience in the voluntary sector, community facilities, or running community projects.
  • Experience as a Trustee is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to foster collaboration.

Work Mode Hybrid – meetings are usually held remotely on Microsoft Teams or in‑person.
