Join Emerson as a Graduate Sales Engineer within our UK & Ireland Sales group, where you can expect excellent product, sales & technical training, and the opportunity to learn from some of the most inspiring managers and engineers in the industry!
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Located out of our Stockport office, you will partake in a 12-month rotational programme rotating between our key business areas.
- During this time, you will learn about the products and services we offer, collaborate with our sales and technical teams to deliver excellent customer service, and contribute to business growth by increasing sales opportunities with our customers.
- You will actively participate in opportunity creation, solution engineering, proposal development, negotiation, closing, booking, and processing customer orders.
- Upon completion of the program, you will transition into the role of an Inside Sales Engineer, further nurturing your professional growth within Emerson.
- You will be required to live within a commutable distance of our Stockport office (or be willing to relocate).
Throughout the program, you will be paired with a Mentor from our organisation, as well as a Buddy who has previously participated in the Graduate Programme. Their guidance and support will ensure your growth and development. You will also be involved in numerous continuous improvement projects which will allow you to build your network whilst gaining additional skills and experiences that support the ongoing success of our organisation.
Who You Are: You will be a driven graduate, with the desire to develop your skills through working with industry-leading customers, making an impact from day one and participating in projects that will allow you to rapidly learn, innovate, and build connections.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- Be on course to achieve a Bachelors Degree or Masters in a STEM discipline, with a graduation date between 2025-2026.
- Be motivated and curious with a strong desire to succeed.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to travel.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- An interest within the Engineering field or a degree within Engineering.
