We are seeking a motivated and growth-oriented Regional Business Manager to support the expansion of Emerson's T&M (Test & Measurement) Electrical Machinery business across EMEA. Focus will be on identifying and driving business in EMEA country hotspots by collaborating with Sales and marketing functions across all channels (direct, distributor and system integration partner). This role offers an opportunity to contribute to strategic initiatives, learn from experienced leaders, and develop commercial and technical acumen in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong interest in business development, driving execution, a collaborative mindset, and foundational experience and knowledge of NI products and applications.

Responsibilities

  • Define target accounts and contacts in hotspot countries and develop a prospecting and engagement plan.
  • Deliver demos and present content to customers and partners to showcase NI products.
  • Define and run prospecting plays to engage target customers by collaborating with Sales Development Engineers (SDEs) and Sales Area Managers (SAMs).
  • Propose customer visits to NI Sales and collaborate on territory plans to recommend engagements that advance opportunity discovery, progression, or closure.
  • Enable and attend tradeshows, user group meetings, demo days and regional events.
  • Track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Gather customer feedback for product development to improve product‐market fit.
  • Contribute to market research and opportunity analysis.
  • Understand customer watering holes and give input into marketing plans.
  • Participate in cross‐functional teams to execute go‐to‐market strategies and learn leadership skills over time.
  • Support development of scalable growth strategies for NI's broadbase business.
  • Understand and recommend partner solutions aligned to EM industries and applications to internal sales teams.
  • Collaborate with partners, NI partner sales and marketing to promote solutions and drive demand via webinars, tradeshows, short‐form videos, and other platforms.
  • Leverage distributor events and contact base to drive demand.
  • Create compelling demand generation cadences tailored for omni channel leverage.
  • Build relationships with System Integrators, Distributors to support partner initiatives.
  • Build awareness of target accounts and applications, identify potential opportunities, and determine the content and motions required to open doors.
  • Assist in aligning NI's products with market trends and customer needs.
  • Engage with customers about market trends, solutions, budget trajectory, customer NPIs, and funding related to their business functions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in the NI/T&M industry in Sales/Business Development/Technical Support/Applications Engineering (preferred).
  • Interest in industrial/electrical machinery sector.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Willingness to travel as required and coordinate customer visits, tradeshows, user group meetings, and regional events.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a growth mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in industrial/electrical machinery sector.
