Responsibilities
- Application Development: Work as part of the application engineering team to develop applications as per the needs of the business; including testing analysers, managing timelines, and collaborating between stakeholders.
- Operations Support: Work alongside operations staff to assist in movement of analysers through production in regards to complex applications.
- Product Expertise: Provide in-depth technical knowledge of process gas and laser analyser products, including their features, specifications, and applications, to support customer inquiries and sales efforts.
- Solution Configuration: Work closely with sales offices to configure tailored gas analysis solutions that meet their specific requirements and regulatory needs.
- Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, product developments, and competitor offerings to provide relevant market intelligence and assist in product positioning.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, or related scientific field.
- Knowledge of gas analysis technologies and measuring principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical customers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of CRM systems a bonus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with gas analysis equipment.
- 2–3 years of experience in a scientist or engineering role, preferably within the gas analysis or instrumentation industry.
- Knowledge of spectroscopic techniques including IR and UV‑Vis.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations related to gas analysis (e.g., ISO, ATEX).
- Understanding of process gas measurements including sampling, conditions and sample handling.
