This FTSE listed property company, with a commercial and industrial portfolio in London, currently seeks an MRICS Building Surveyor for their London project team. This role offers the rare opportunity to move into a client-side position within a well-established property company with long-term incentives as part of their employee share scheme.
The role:
- Working alongside internal stakeholders, you will be responsible for leading (either directly or via an external consultant team) circa 5-10 projects at a time.
- Work will be a mix of Building Surveying and project work including:
- Managing external team in delivery of dilapidations and RCA work
- Delivery of licence to alter
- Acting as contract administrator / project manager
- Managing internal stakeholder relationships, including asset managers
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time and budget
The successful candidate:
- Degree qualified in Building Surveying or related subject
- Chartered, ideally MRICS
- Min 3 years experience as a Building Surveyor gained in a consultancy or client
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
