This is an exciting newly created opportunity for an experienced Sales Leader to have ultimate responsibility for the direction and leadership of the UK&I Isolation Valves (ISV) Sales business. The successful person will directly lead the ISV external and internal sales teams to meet/exceed business targets including orders and control of SG&A (Sales, General & Administration) expenditure. This role will also be an active member of the UK & Ireland Leadership team, setting and supporting the direction and strategic priorities for the Emerson business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, organise, manage and coach the UK&I ISV external and internal sales teams to meet/exceed annual order targets.
- Develop and maintain sales management processes as appropriate.
- Drive development and implementation of strategies and initiatives including Go-to-Market strategy to ensure long-term business growth and customer loyalty.
- Form and maintain business relationships with customers that help deliver long-term growth for the business.
- Own the business forecasting process for the President’s Operating Report (POR) including monitoring and reporting.
- Lead and own the budget-setting process for the business including orders, GP, SG&A, headcount, and capital expenditure.
- Lead individual budget and goal setting with ISV Sales Team.
- Work closely with key stakeholders in the UK and Ireland to maximise total business potential for Emerson.
- Maintain and develop relationships with counterparts in Europe to assist each other on Emerson success where needed.
- Ensure training plans are developed and delivered across the group functional and technical knowledge.
- Own and define the local country delegation of authority (DOA) limits and process for pricing across the business.
- Nurture a culture of psychological safety and continuous improvement to drive innovation and productivity gain.
- Represent Emerson in senior commercial negotiations with customers.
- Ensure delivery of Company compulsory Ethics and Trade Compliance training programs on a yearly basis.
