The Delivery Technician, working closely with the Customer Care team, will prioritize, handle, and implement all dispatches from the PUK factory. This role supports business growth, exceeds customer expectations, and maintains high-quality standards and trade compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately pick stock items according to outgoing paperwork, ensuring customer requirements are met.
  • Prepare shipping documentation, including customs paperwork, using templates to meet deadlines, and maintain quality and compliance records.
  • Liaise with carriers to coordinate deliveries and handle any import clearance delays.
  • Maintain accurate records using company computer systems, including stock transfers and adjustments.
  • Participate in internal and external training as required.
  • Be flexible with working hours during periods of high workload.
  • Manage dispatches via post or courier services.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Anticipate and resolve obstacles in job performance.
  • Demonstrate resilience, optimism, and adaptability to change.
  • Train and supervise Junior Delivery Technicians.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with standard stores and delivery processes.
  • Good understanding of Health and Safety regulations.

  • Proficiency with PC skills relevant to the role.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
