Emeritus partners with globally ranked universities to build world‑class education ecosystems across online, hybrid and physical campus models. As we expand internationally particularly within India’s rapidly evolving higher‑education landscape, we are launching new university campuses with leading global institutions. These builds require full academic and professional services teams: Provosts, Deans, senior faculty, CFO/CBO leadership and core academic departments. This role is central to that mission.
We are hiring a delivery‑focused Talent Acquisition Business Partner to lead international academic hiring and faculty pipeline development across our Transnational Education (TNE) initiatives, while also supporting wider business lines across the Emeritus ecosystem. Reports directly to the Director of Global Talent and Workforce Planning your key responsibilities will include:
- International Faculty & Academic Hiring
- Build proactive global faculty pipelines across priority disciplines
- Map talent across leading universities and research clusters
- Directly source Assistant, Associate and Full Professors worldwide
- Develop longlists ahead of formal search approvals
- Build relationships with research‑active academics globally
- Ensure quality, diversity and institutional credibility in all pipelines
- Drive research‑led headhunting—not job‑board recruitment
- While not a generalist HR role, contribute to broader people initiatives supporting new campus build‑outs
- Provide recruitment partnership to additional Lines of Business (LOBs) across the Emeritus ecosystem
- Support hiring for commercial, operational and strategic functions as required
- Build talent pipelines aligned to business growth priorities beyond academic hiring
- Advise leaders on role scoping, market insights and search strategy
- Ensure consistent hiring standards, process quality and candidate experience across all business units
- Support workforce planning for academic and professional services teams
- Partner on onboarding frameworks for international faculty
- Contribute to policies on hiring, mobility and compliance
- Ensure alignment with global HR standards and regulatory requirements
- Guide hiring managers on interview best practice and equitable assessment
- Support DEI initiatives within academic hiring
Must‑Have Experience, set up for success!
- Proven experience leading international faculty search across multiple geographies
- Strong understanding of the global higher‑education sector and academic career pathways
- Demonstrated ability to build credible faculty pipelines through research‑led sourcing
- Experience partnering with senior academic stakeholders (e.g., Deans, Provosts)
- Familiarity with TNE hiring, global mobility and cross‑border compliance
