The Opportunity
Help motivated learners land their next tech role. As a Career Coach you will support learners in our technical bootcamps (ML & AI, coding, cybersecurity, data analytics) through every stage of the job search, from goal setting and resume polish to interview prep and salary negotiation. You will contribute up to 20 hours per week, delivering 1-on-1 coaching, leading group workshops, and collaborating with a global team dedicated to learner success.
What You Will Do
1-on-1 Coaching (70%)
- Guide learners through resume review, LinkedIn optimization, networking strategy, mock interviews, and salary negotiations.
- Record session notes, set next-step milestones, and follow up to keep learners on track.
Group Programing (20%)
- Facilitate live webinars on job-search topics such as ATS best practices, personal branding, tech-industry interviewing.
- Support peer networking and industry communities.
- Share insights with the Associate Director to refine content and workflows.
- Contribute to templates, checklists, or video content for the Emeritus Career Center.
What You Bring
- 3+ years in career coaching, recruiting, or talent development – ideally supporting tech talent or bootcamp learners.
- Up-to-date knowledge of hiring practices and ATS optimization.
- Proven ability to engage diverse adult learners via digital collaboration tools.
- Strong organizational skills; comfortable juggling calendars, learner data, and metrics in a remote environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; coaching certifications are a plus.
Hours and Compensation
This UK-based, remote role is part-time (up to 20 hours per week), worked Monday – Friday in your local time zone.
Compensation ranges from £25,000-£31,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
