The Role: We are recruiting a Business Developer to play a key and strategic role in our growth. This is a new, strategic role within the company, created in the context of our acceleration plan. Your main role will be to co-construct the firm’s commercial and growth strategy. This position is first and foremost focused on the development of our Contract / External Staffing desk, which represents a major strategic priority for the firm. Beyond this initial phase, the role will evolve towards the expansion of our existing key accounts including the opening of new departments as well as the acquisition and development of new accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Phase 1 – Contract Desk Development (Priority)
    • Lead the development and structuring of the Contract / Freelance recruitment offering
    • Identify market opportunities within our core Financial Services niches
    • Build and manage relationships with key decision-makers (HR, Procurement, Hiring Managers)
    • Negotiate contract staffing agreements, preferred supplier lists and commercial terms
    • Prepare and respond to tenders / RFPs
    • Act as a strategic partner to consultants, ensuring alignment between commercial strategy and delivery
  • Phase 2 – Expansion & Existing Business Growth
    • Reactivate inactive or underdeveloped client accounts
    • Strengthen and grow existing partnerships through upselling and cross-selling
    • Contribute to the opening of new departments or practices aligned with market demand
    • Support consultants in developing long-term client relationships
  • Phase 3 – New Client Acquisition
    • Identify and secure new strategic clients in the French and BeLux market
    • Represent the firm externally and contribute to brand positioning

Additional Responsibilities

  • Co-develop and implement the firm’s commercial strategy alongside leadership
  • Monitor performance, client satisfaction and commercial KPIs
  • Provide functional leadership to consultants (commercial guidance, market insights, best practices)
  • Travel to Paris, Belgium and Luxembourg when required

What We Are Looking For

  • Senior Business Developer with a strong result-driven and strategic mindset
  • Proven commercial experience within a recruitment firm, including administrative and regulatory aspects
  • Autonomous, well-structured, and able to drive business development end-to-end
  • Entrepreneurial profile, proactive and force of proposal, with the ability to contribute to the firm’s growth strategy alongside the CEO
  • High standards, strong sense of quality and client service
  • Strong desire to build, structure and grow a business over the long term
  • Experience within Financial Services, and more specifically within Banking and Insurance environments, is a plus
  • Full professional fluency in both French and English, written and spoken
