Your Role, Your Impact
As a Service Charge Team Lead, you will be required to provide all aspects of financial reporting and analysis for our developments, collaborating with key stakeholders. You will also manage a team of service charge accountants ensuring business objectives are met, alongside legislative guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership and Performance: Lead and support team members to achieve high performance, including conducting performance reviews, coaching for skill development, and addressing issues in line with HR policies.
- Data Management and Reporting: Use reporting tools to manage workloads, ensure data accuracy, and create regular reports on team progress and challenges to inform decisions.
- Goal Monitoring and Decision-Making: Monitor KPIs to ensure team goals are met, analyse data to balance workloads, and make confident decisions that align with organisational objectives.
- Communication and Issue Resolution: Communicate effectively with the team and stakeholders to resolve issues promptly, including organising and leading calls to address unresolved queries.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience within a Service Charge position OR a managerial/team lead Accounting level.
- Proficiency in using reporting tools (e.g., Excel, BI tools, or other relevant platforms) to track and manage team performance.
