As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at Emergn, you will lead DevOps support and infrastructure operations, ensuring reliable maintenance, smooth releases, robust system observability, and effective automation for both clients and internal development teams. We want you to:

  • Manage and support SAP HANA infrastructure, including daily operational tasks, maintenance, and performance monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues using observability tools (monitoring, logging, alerting, metrics).
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure stable CI/CD pipelines, smooth deployments, and reliable environments.
  • Participate in testing, validation, and implementation of new platform features and system improvements.
  • Maintain secure, well-documented, and compliant infrastructure following best practices in system administration and resource management.
  • Contribute to automation initiatives using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, scripting, or similar tools.

This job might be for you if you have:

  • At least 4 years of experience with DevOps concepts, tools, and ways of working.
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows system administration.
  • Understanding of DBMS administration principles.
  • Experience with system maintenance, resource management, and security.
  • Familiarity with containerization, virtualization, and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, VMware, etc.).
  • Experience with observability tools for monitoring, logging, alerting, and metrics analysis.
  • Experience with automation or CI/CD tool (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, Shell/Python scripting or similar).
  • Good communication skills in Latvian and English.

You might also have:

  • Experience supporting projects in Python, NodeJS, or Java.
  • Experience with SQL performance analysis and optimization.
  • Knowledge of SAP products, such as SAP HANA, SAP BusinessObjects, SAP IQ.
