As a Lead Java Developer at Emergn, you'll help us shape Emergn's exciting future and play an important role in our growth. Join our Java team, and let's make an impact together!

We want you to:

  • Take responsibility over designing, coding, testing and deploying Java-based applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, architecture and delivery timelines.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug and optimize applications for performance and scalability.

You're a perfect fit if you have:

  • Solid proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin, SpringBoot, and designing RESTful APIs.
  • Experience and expertise in AWS, No-SQL/Relational Databases, creating and testing application flow, including application logic, databases, integrations, and APIs.
  • Experience and expertise in advanced topics like asynchronous processing, background threads, concurrency handling, analyzing bottlenecks & optimizing back-end services for performance, and developing comprehensive unit and integration tests.
  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal).

Location requirement: This is an onsite position based in Dublin, Ireland.
