About the Role
As Housing Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring people being treated by local drug and alcohol services are safely housed in appropriate accommodation so they can focus on their treatment and recovery journey.
You will provide operational leadership, inspire and motivate the team, and work with external partners to assess needs and support people in maintaining accommodation.
The role requires flexible working, including occasional evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure safe housing and support for individuals with complex needs.
- Deliver recovery and treatment services in line with contract requirements.
- Provide visible operational leadership and motivate the team.
- Collaborate with health and treatment services, social enterprises, housing, education, and training providers to facilitate transition to independent living.
- Work flexibly across sites and be available for evening and weekend duty.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience managing complex needs, substance misuse and/or housing services.
- Experience in adult social care and services in the third or public sector.
- Experience developing and supporting staff in a challenging environment.
- Experience building partnerships and working collaboratively with other organisations.
- Experience supporting individuals to sustain long‑term health gains, tenancy and recovery.
- Experience developing self‑sustaining, recovery‑focused communities.
- Management or equivalent qualification.
