Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering care plans for patients and ability to work efficiently within a busy A E department
  • Monitoring vital signs
  • Carrying out assessments and blood tests
  • Liaising with other team members including doctors and senior nurses
  • Observing patient’s condition and recording information
  • Administering medications
  • Communicating with patients and their families

Essential Qualifications Experience:

  • Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Nurse
  • Strong knowledge of patient care principles and practices
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients
  • Ability to work effectively within a team while also demonstrating initiative in patient care
  • Compassionate approach with strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy towards patients' experiences
  • At least 6 months' NHS experience as an Accident Emergency Nurse (within the last 3 years)
  • Proficiency in IT systems for maintaining patient records and accessing medical information
