Emergency Medicine CT Technologist
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medicine CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist to join our dynamic team in a fast‑paced healthcare environment. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for performing CT scans with a focus on accuracy and patient safety, ensuring high‑quality images are obtained for diagnostic purposes. You will work closely with emergency physicians and healthcare staff to deliver timely and effective care to patients in critical conditions. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include preparing patients for procedures, explaining the scanning process, conducting scans, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with radiologists to assist in interpreting images and providing immediate support during emergencies.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a valid ARRT certification in CT and a current state license, along with a solid understanding of radiologic technology and emergency protocols. Experience in a hospital or emergency setting is preferred, as is the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care are essential to succeed in this role.
