Job Overview

A successful company based in Maidenhead is seeking a Product Manager to join their highly entrepreneurial and experienced team. As a Product Manager, you\’ll be responsible for the creation and evolution of exciting products that meet the needs of their customers and the business.

Responsibilities

1. Support Product Management by creating epics and user stories to enable development for at least 2 sprints of prioritized user stories.
2. Work closely with the Scrum team to help clarify stories as required.
3. Compile test results to provide data for solving problems.
4. Perform engineering-level tests to find defects; troubleshoot and debug development and production issues, collaborating with QA Engineers to develop optimal product test plans.
5. Work with Product Owner to clarify and estimate feature work.
6. Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop and implement effective test plans and resolve bugs during release stabilization.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. Bachelor\’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field, plus approximately 2 years of experience in a similar role or equivalent experience.
2. Highly motivated self-starter with a desire to help others and take action.
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts into non-technical terms.
4. Ability to work independently as part of a high-paced, focused team.
5. Excellent multi-tasking, prioritization, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
6. Ability to influence decisions without direct authority and to socialize ideas effectively.
7. Collaborative nature with a strong desire to learn independently and through asking questions.
8. Understanding of product and sprint backlog tracking, burn-down metrics, velocity, and work breakdowns.
9. Knowledge of software development processes and procedures.
