Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within the payments and fintech space
- Build and manage strong relationships with merchants, partners, and gateway providers
- Leverage experience with Cybersource, Cardstream, or similar gateways to support payment solutions
- Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching to contract negotiation and onboarding
- Work closely with internal teams (product, technical, operations, and risk) to deliver tailored payment solutions
- Maintain a strong pipeline and consistently achieve revenue targets
- Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments in payments.
Skills & Experience
- Experience as a Business Development Manager/ Account Manager/ Relationship Manager within payments, fintech, or merchant acquiring
- Hands-on experience working with payment gateways such as Cybersource, Cardstream, or equivalent platforms
- Strong understanding of card payments, alternative payment methods, and payment processing flows
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage long sales cycles and complex stakeholder environments
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience selling to eCommerce merchants
- Knowledge of cross-border payments
- Existing network within the payments or fintech ecosystem.
