The opportunity
Emerald is looking for a talented and creatively driven Video Editor and Producer to join our growing team. Video is central to how we explain proactive healthcare, build trust and turn complex medical topics into clear, engaging stories. This role will support our content engine across podcasts, webinars, social clips, paid creative, website videos and partner-embedded content.
You’ll work closely with our marketing, growth, clinical and product teams to turn expert conversations, educational content and campaign ideas into polished video assets. From clipping webinars and podcasts into high-performing social content, to creating motion-led explainers and production-level videos for our website, socials and partners, you’ll help shape how Emerald shows up across every channel.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can edit with pace, spot strong hooks, bring structure to raw content and add the visual polish needed to make healthcare feel clear, human and trustworthy.
What you’ll do
- Edit podcast, webinar and long-form video content into compelling clips, highlights and social-first assets.
- Create short-form video content optimised for platforms including Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and paid social.
- Produce polished video assets for Emerald’s website, landing pages, email campaigns, product education and partner channels.
- Create high-quality videos for embedded partnerships, employer benefits platforms and B2B distribution.
- Add motion graphics, captions, overlays, transitions, lower thirds and simple visual explainers to bring content to life.
- Turn raw recordings, expert conversations and campaign ideas into clear, engaging and trustworthy stories.
- Build multiple hooks, cut-downs and creative variations for testing across paid and organic channels.
- Support the planning and production of new video formats, from educational explainers to founder-led content, doctor-led content and member stories.
- Work closely with marketing, growth, product and clinical teams to align video output with campaign goals, brand standards and performance insights.
- Organise and manage video assets so footage, edits and project files remain accessible for future testing and iteration.
- Bring fresh creative ideas and stay up to date with evolving video, social and paid media trends.
Who you are
- 3+ years’ experience in video editing, content production or social-first video creation.
- Strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating high-quality editing, storytelling, pacing and visual polish.
- Advanced proficiency in video editing tools such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut or DaVinci Resolve.
- Comfortable using motion graphics tools such as After Effects, CapCut, Photoshop or similar.
- Strong editing instincts, with a sharp eye for hooks, structure, pacing, composition, colour and sound.
- Able to turn long-form content into short, high-performing clips for social, paid media and partner channels.
- Comfortable creating captions, branded overlays, lower thirds, simple explainers and motion-led assets.
- Able to translate complex or sensitive healthcare topics into clear, engaging and human video content.
- Strong understanding of how video performs across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn.
- Comfortable working with podcast recordings, webinar footage, screen recordings, expert-led content and customer/member stories.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work at speed.
- Collaborative, proactive and comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Bonus: experience in healthcare, wellness, consumer subscription, fintech or another regulated category.
