Emerald Teaching is recruiting a Level 2 Teaching Assistant in Oldham to support pupils within a local school.
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Teaching Assistant who holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent and is confident supporting pupils in the classroom.
The Role
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with their learning in the classroom
- Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support where required
- Help pupils stay engaged and make progress
- Support positive behaviour and classroom routines
- Assist with the preparation of classroom activities and resources
Requirements
To be considered for this Teaching Assistant job in Oldham, you should have:
- A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Previous experience working with children in a school or education setting
- Good communication and classroom support skills
- A positive and reliable approach to working with pupils
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to complete a new DBS check
- The right to work in the UK
