SEN Teaching Assistants to work with our partner schools in Manchester.
About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will
- Support students with SEN on a one-to-one or small group basis.
- Collaborate with teachers to adapt lesson plans and ensure accessibility for all students.
- Build positive relationships with students, encouraging their confidence and independence.
- Assist in managing classroom behaviour and supporting students with emotional and social needs.
- Work closely with parents, teachers, and external professionals to implement tailored learning plans.
- What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential.
- A proactive, patient, and empathetic attitude.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant qualifications (e. g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) are preferred.
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and an understanding of safeguarding practices.
