As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to help them achieve their developmental milestones.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging learning activities through play and structured learning.
- Encourage children’s social, emotional, and communication development.
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
- Support children on a one-to-one basis or in small groups where required.
- Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Previous experience working with young children in a nursery, early years, or primary school setting is desirable but not essential.
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years or Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.
- An understanding of safeguarding and child development.
