Our client, a growing and global M365 technology consultancy, is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join their global delivery team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge Microsoft projects, global clients and be part of a collaborative, global and high-performing team. The ideal individual will come from a technical background and have a good technical appreciation for Microsoft technology infrastructure, apps and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage with business stakeholders to capture functional and non-functional requirements and build relationships.
  • Scope infrastructure projects and develop delivery plans (time, cost, resources and dependencies).
  • Manage multiple projects and technical resources across multiple regions where required.
  • Coordinate technical consultants to carry out technical discovery work, design solutions and policy configurations and implement changes in a controlled environment.
  • Coordinate technical consultants and customer technical resources as one multi-disciplinary team to achieve the required project outcomes and benefits.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop change management plans to minimise business risk and maximise product adoption. Develop plans for communications, training, and testing.
  • Develop weekly and adhoc project reporting and lead project board meetings and internal review meetings.
  • Maintain a project RAID log to track risks, actions, issues and decisions.
  • Develop project documentation in accordance with internal standards and customer project management standards (where required).

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 years related project management experience.
  • Project delivery of Microsoft infrastructure projects including Microsoft 365 cloud technologies.
  • Migrating Exchange email environments or data workloads to private data centres or to the cloud (desirable).
  • On-premises and traditional infrastructure technologies including Virtualisation, VDI, storage, firewalls, AV + Threat Protection, Windows Server, DNS/DHCP, backup solutions.
  • Migration experience (AD/Exchange/File Shares) and knowledge of migration tooling.
  • Desktop rollout experience (Windows 10/11).
  • Experience working in controlled project environments using Agile or Waterfall based project methodologies.
  • Technical infrastructure background (desirable).

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • English level C1 or above.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Project Management certification (desirable).
  • Microsoft 365 related certifications (desirable).
  • Microsoft SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive (desirable).
  • Microsoft Endpoint Management (desirable).
  • ITIL standards for Change Management.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • Good PowerPoint skills.
