The Bricklayers Arms in Putney is now recruiting for a General Manager to take the reigns at our independent pub and help continue to grow the business.

Featuring in the Guinness Harp Guide and one of The Telegraph's 500 best pubs in the UK, The Bricklayers Arms is an independent and family run pub in the heart of Putney. A traditional London pub championing cask ale, locally sourced craft beers, and exceptional Guinness & Irish Stouts; with a community atmosphere, and just a touch of that famous Irish hospitality. Community is at the heart of what we do, and we always ensure that our locals are the driving force behind our decision making. We are a small but growing company, and are looking for hospitality lovers that are looking to progress in their career.

ABOUT YOU

You will already be at a General Manager level, or an experienced AGM looking to take the next step in your career. Working alongside the owners and the operations team, you will oversee the day to day operations of the pub, support in the control of finance and stocks, and be able to lead and motivate a team to that strives to ensure that guest satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do. You will be passionate about hospitality as a whole, and your passion for the industry will drive you to want to grow and progress. Previous management experience in a wet-led / wet-only pub is required, and the ideal candidate will have a passion for all things beer. Full training will be provided, but the ideal candidate will have a solid working knowledge of cask ale, and will be comfortable managing our 9 rotational cask ale lines.
