Overview
Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
Support the Head of Financial Risk and Insights by taking the lead role to shape and oversee the risk actuarial work plan, collaborating with our senior risk actuaries
Manage and coach a small team who work with the UK business (Life and P&C) to enhance the assessments of financial and insurance risks, with a specific focus on emerging risk and climate change risk
Lead your team to work collaboratively with the UK Risk team to automate and simplify the Risk reporting using data visualisation and analytics tools
Guide the UK Risk technical business partnering on financial and insurance risk to support the business manage exposures within tolerances and appetite
Experience required:
This role is for an experienced professional with strong business acumen, and a good understanding of the UK insurance market and regulations
You must have demonstrable experience of financial risk oversight, preferably within the insurance sector
Strong analytical and data visualization skills, with experience in using data and trend analysis to provide insights and support decisions
Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to a broad range of stakeholders and experience of writing reports for senior stakeholders and Boards
