Overview

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):

  • Manage allocated claims (Speciality) to provide satisfactory conclusions for all interested parties, with a view to minimising the claims lifecycle and static claims.
  • Support and implementation of PMAL claims philosophy which is to deliver a consistent and high-quality service and ensure all claims are assessed in a fair and prompt manner in compliance with the Lloyds standards, and their internal standards, regarding ECF turnaround times.
  • Support production of internal and external reports and operation of controls (aged report, static report, purge report, diary, etc.).
  • Contribute to the Company’s profitability by ensuring that claims are handled appropriately, subrogation opportunities are maximised, and expenses are properly controlled.

Experience required:

  • Experience in a claims handling role with a focus on first party specialty claims (any lines including aviation, marine and energy).
  • Experience of using ECF.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and other claims related software (e.g., Sequel and Trax).
  • Able to communicate and negotiate effectively at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, quickly identify and solve problems.
