Overview
Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
- Leading and mentoring more junior team members to develop their understanding of risk management and the group companies and clients.
- Review and own reporting to both client and company governance forums.
- Support the development and maintenance of allocated framework sections, in liaison with other team members and the Head of Risk.
- Responsible for identifying, documenting and rating risks in relevant clients, including reviewing work undertaken by direct reports.
Experience required:
- Experience of working in an underwriting or underwriting-related area or a good understanding of underwriting risk and basic underwriting processes would be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of the insurance market and risk, with a basic understanding of the activities of a Lloyd’s syndicate.
- Strong understanding of Solvency II and other regulatory requirements; an understanding of how they impact on the business desirable.
