Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
- Performing and reviewing technical tasks, including experience analysis, validating client data, claims, premium, and settlement calculations.
- Providing oversight and support to more junior team members, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to process.
- Helping assess operational implications of new treaties before signing, and supporting business onboarding activities across functions.
- Contributing to process improvements, including documentation and IT platform enhancements, to boost efficiency and support future growth.
Qualifications required:
- Qualified or nearly qualified actuary.
Experience required:
- 3+ years of experience in pensions, insurance, or reinsurance.
- Strong actuarial technical knowledge and skillset including excel modelling, working with large data sets, actuarial experience studies and assumption settings.
- Knowledge in other programming languages such as R and Python is a strong plus.
