This is an opportunity to train to be a recruitment consultant based in our fast-growing Plymouth office. The successful candidate will develop skills to become an effective professional within the Financial Services sector. This position offers the chance to earn a "London" salary while living in the South West.
You will receive training and support to excel in our field. The role involves working with senior hiring managers and HR departments, sourcing candidates, networking, and business development.
Key Accountabilities- Identify and approach new candidates confidently, demonstrating effective headhunting skills.
- Build strong relationships with candidates to place them in roles.
- Manage the recruitment process from client role to candidate placement and acceptance.
- Attend client meetings to understand hiring needs and build industry knowledge.
- Generate leads through market research and canvassing.
- Business develop via phone, email, and visits to clients and candidates.
- Maintain and update the company database, log activities, and complete administrative duties promptly.
- Work in the company's best interest to build market share.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of private data at all times.
- Degree or equivalent intellect, even without a degree.
- Playing Table Tennis is a bonus but not essential.
- Be sociable, driven, determined, and eager to succeed.
- Strong listening and communication skills.
- Flexible and adaptable with resilience.
- Enthusiastic with a positive attitude.
- Confident and professional telephone manner for dealing with clients and candidates.
