Pricing actuaries are expected to have developed understanding & knowledge in the different Actuarial activities carried out within the Company. The 4 principal activities are Actuarial Risk & Capital, Actuarial Reporting, Actuarial Systems and Pricing. To have a high level of knowledge and understanding and be able to play a lead role in at least two of the Actuarial activities. To actively develop knowledge and understanding in the remaining Actuarial activities. To act as an Actuarial contact point for internal and some external customers and to provide accurate technical input and explanation.
Qualifications required:
- Qualified actuary or nearly qualified actuary with a minimum of 10 actuarial examination passes and proven actuarial experience
- Preferably possess a relevant degree with grade 2:1 or above
Experience required:
- Detailed understanding of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Excel software, R, VBA, PowerBI, Actuarial specific software & Python desirable
