This will often involve investigating alternative solutions with teams. Understanding how these reinsurance solutions can benefit clients both through modelled quantification and in non-quantifiable ways. Helping junior colleagues develop actuarial and wider skillsets to support clients. This could be through direct reports or in a broader role across the team. Building out capabilities to better support colleagues through enhanced data insight or other means. This could be through improved efficiency or new offerings. Qualifications required: Ideally a qualified actuary (FIA or similar) but not essential. Experience required: A robust technical actuarial skillset and the ability to challenge the way they solve problems currently. Ability to lead teams and develop junior colleagues.
