eMed is looking for enthusiastic, motivated GPs to provide excellent clinical service in our face‑to‑face clinics. We are looking for GPs who are qualified to practise in the UK to work in our state‑of‑the‑art London Clinics to provide accessible, affordable healthcare. There is a wonderful team of multidisciplinary staff (which includes reception staff, Nurses, HCAS, and GPs) at each site and we welcome the opportunity to further broaden our clinic family.

As part of the role, the successful candidate will be providing Joint Injection Services to suitable patients under the NHS England Minor Surgery DES. The Practice is currently awaiting accreditation to deliver this service, at which point there will be a gradual introduction of Joint Injection slots into the general face‑to‑face sessions. We provide face‑to‑face appointments for our GP at Hand patients Monday to Saturday with fantastic central locations. All of the locations are near major transport hubs and are highly accessible for patients and staff. We have excellent appointment availability for patients – at eMed there is no waiting for 3 weeks to see a GP in clinic!

Alongside our NHS GP at Hand service, the successful candidate will be participating in our new exciting Private Face‑to‑Face Service offer, which is currently being implemented across our clinics. Our clinicians are our most valuable resource and so we have a fantastic package available to our GPs. We are looking for GPs who are able to work across our London Clinics (Canary Wharf and Victoria) on a 16 hour contract per week (covering Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday).

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • GMC registered with a licence to practise
  • On the GP Register
  • On an NHS performers list
  • Minimum six months NHS Primary Care experience post CCT.
  • Trained and accredited by NHS England or your local ICB to provide minor surgery services under the DES (at least Level 1)
  • Undergoes Minor Surgery re‑accreditation at least every 3 years
  • Face‑to‑face CPR/BLS training within the last 18 months
  • Evidence of significant, recent and sustained experience of providing joint injections and/or skin procedures
  • Good IT skills
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills across all levels of the business
  • Always ensure you’re up to date with our strict CQC compliance process
  • Excellent organisational skills
