We are looking for an Operations Support Coordinator to support both pharmacy operations and wider clinical operations. The role is split between hands-on pharmacy support – ensuring stock is maintained, orders are packed and dispatched accurately, and the pharmacy runs smoothly – and operational coordination, including reporting, scheduling, stock tracking, and process management. You will also gain an understanding of our remote Weight Management service and provide operational support across the Clinical Operations team when needed, including clinician onboarding, rota planning, and performance tracking. This role is ideal for someone organised, proactive, and interested in health technology and scaling healthcare operations. You’ll work closely with pharmacy and clinical teams in a fast-paced, growing environment.
We are looking for a full-time, on-site role based at eMed Pharmacy in Euston, London, working Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00.
What you’ll work on
- Stock management
- Conducting weekly stock checks to ensure the pharmacy has everything it needs
- Identifying low stock levels and initiating orders accordingly
- Working with Finance to raise purchase orders and obtain supplier quotes
- Supporting stock forecasting to inform order quantities and avoid shortfalls
- During the pharmacy day
- Working alongside dispensers to help pack orders during high demand.
- Ensuring loaded trolleys can flow through the pharmacy and hallways
- Ensuring the workspace remains clear and ready for continuous loading throughout the day
- Receiving deliveries from reception, bringing stock down, and storing it neatly and correctly
- Coordinating end-of-day collection, ensuring all packaged orders are handed over to delivery partners correctly
- Verifying that the number of packages handed over matches the pharmacy dispatch count
- Ensuring the workspaces are clean, and organised.
- Ensuring any stock is accessible and ready for the next day.
- Administrative work
- Liaising with the support team to resolve any queries or issues as they arise
- Troubleshooting pharmacy software issues and escalating hardware or system problems to IT where needed
- Managing cover for the pharmacy team, including coordinating with the external agency supplying local dispensers to ensure shifts are covered.
- Weight Management – Operational Cover
- Supporting clinician onboarding by raising IT tickets and coordinating system access and device allocation
- Developing familiarity with the rota structure and agency coordination process so cover can be maintained during absences
- Providing a point of contact and first-line operational support across the Weight Management service when required
- Maintaining weekly checks and coordinating with the wider team to ensure continuity of service quality and KPIs
- Helping to identify and document repeatable processes to support scalability and easier onboarding and offboarding
- Supporting the adoption of new tools or ways of working as the function evolves.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in operations, coordination, or administrative role is preferred (healthcare, pharmacy or logistics experience is a bonus).
- Comfortable using multiple software systems simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a reliable approach to tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Willing to complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Dispenser course (existing qualification is a bonus).
What we offer
- Salary range from £30,000 to £35,000 per year
- 25 days holiday
- Breakfast and all-day snacks
- Monthly socials
- Health care Cash Plan including physio, digital clinical appointments and wellbeing for you, your partner and children
- £80 contribution to noise-cancelling headphones
- Life insurance cover of 4× salary
- Pension contribution matched up to 5 %
- Cycle-to-work scheme
