The exciting merger of ERS Medical and E-Zec Medical has enabled us to rebrand, therefore as a combined business we are now known as EMED Group. We are the largest Patient Transport and Care Partner to the NHS with circa 4,000 colleagues across 60 depots. Job responsibilities

As a volunteer, you0;ll be the friendly face that patients rely on during their journey to appointments. Your role is simple yet profoundly impactful: providing safe and reliable transportation, while offering reassurance and support during a challenging time in their lives.

No prior experience is necessary – just bring your caring attitude. There are no set shifts or required hours, however we do have a preference for weekend availability, although not set in stone.

You simply let us know your availability, and we0;ll schedule pick-ups accordingly. It0;s fully flexible and based on when you0;re free.

Person Specification

Experience

  • A valid driving licence with (no more than 6 penalty points)
  • A friendly and empathetic demeanour
  • Access to a 4 door (minimum) car
  • Alignment with our organisation\’s values
  • Basic IT skills (like the use of smartphone)

Disclosure and Barring Service Check

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
