Volunteer Car Driver – Oxford
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Volunteer Car Driver to join our team based in Oxford. Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in your community? Join us as a Patient Transport Volunteer Driver and become a vital part of our Patient Transport Service in your local area. Your commitment will ensure that vulnerable patients can access essential medical appointments on time with ease and comfort.
Main duties
- Drive patients to non‑emergency appointments
- Coordinate with our dispatch teams for seamless operations
- Foster positive relationships within the community
- Enjoy the autonomy of volunteering independently while knowing you have the backing of a supportive team
What we’re looking for
- A valid driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- A friendly and empathetic demeanour
- Access to a 4‑door (minimum) car
- Alignment with our organisation’s values
- Basic IT skills (e.g. use of smartphone)
