Volunteer Car Driver

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Volunteer Car Driver to join our team based in Banbury. Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in your community? Join us as a Patient Transport Volunteer Driver and become a vital part of the Patient Transport Service, ensuring vulnerable patients can attend essential medical appointments on time with ease and comfort.

Main duties of the job

  • Drive patients to non‑emergency appointments.
  • Coordinate with dispatch teams for seamless operations.
  • Foster positive relationships within the community.
  • Enjoy the autonomy of volunteering independently while having the backing of a supportive team.

What we’re looking for

  • A valid driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • A friendly and empathetic demeanour.
  • Access to a 4‑door (minimum) car.
  • Alignment with the organisation’s values.
  • Basic IT skills ( Chronicle), such as the use of a smartphone.
