This is a full time position working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Main Duties
β’ Business Performance and Service Delivery β Deliver excellent customer service by ensuring the prompt departure of Ambulance Care Assistants from base.
β’ Compliance β Assist the Compliance Team with Health and Safety base checks to ensure that the base and any equipment is fully compliant at all times.
β’ Fleet β Liaise with the Fleet supervisor to ensure that all vehicles are suitable for road use and undertake vehicle checks to ensure that performance and hygiene is optimal.
β’ Data Management β Ensure that personal data management systems are kept up to date with all employeesβ details to ensure the accuracy of payroll and annual leave.
β’ KPIβs β Support the Contract Manager with delivery of KPIβs, providing innovative ideas for improvement.
β’ People Management β Conduct probationary reviews with Ambulance Care Assistants in line with Company policy.
β’ Employee Relations Support β Complete thorough and fair investigations prior to disciplinary, delivering a succinct and solid case to the disciplinary chair when completed.
β’ Sickness and Leave β Ensure that sickness absence is kept up to date and identify potential avenues for cover in the event of high levels of sickness.
β’ Recruitment β Participate in recruitment and selection processes, ensuring personal adherence to policies and procedures.
β’ Training β Ensure all areas of the contract deliver excellent patient service by delivering Annual Skills Development training and conducting driving assessments as and when required.
β’ Ad-hoc β Conduct property risk assessments as and when required to ensure safe and suitable access for Ambulance Crews.
β’ Health and Safety β Ensure that the workplace is safe for everyone by taking reasonable care not to do anything that might endanger you or others.

Person Specification
β’ Experience of working in a highly regulated, complex business, with an understanding of healthcare logistics (patient transport service experience preferred).
β’ Passion for patient care and delivering a highly effective service.
β’ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proven ability to engage at all levels within an organisation.
β’ High level of commercial awareness with proven experience in achieving KPIβs within a highly regulated industry.
