We have a fantastic opportunity for a National Trainer to join our amazing training team based in Cambridge and Peterborough, with national travel as required. As a National Trainer and part of the national training team, you will be responsible for working with our new starters within your region to deliver their First Aid qualifications within the workplace, whilst providing exceptional support and guidance to both the learners and the operational teams, supporting driver theory and assessments where required. You will be responsible for ensuring that EMED is adhering to company and industry training standards and regulations, ensuring all PTS / Community / Courier and SAFE colleagues have signed/recorded, up-to-date training in place.

Your main duties will include:

  • Delivering company induction to new starters across all divisions
  • Conducting annual refresher training
  • Driver training and assessments
  • Supporting and motivating learners to ensure progression
  • Training, supporting, assessing, and coaching part-time trainers and mentors
  • Supporting development of learners to maximize potential
  • Maintaining and reporting on training compliance
  • Collaborating with regional and national teams on training initiatives
  • Identifying additional learning needs and providing relevant resources
  • Updating course materials to ensure compliance
  • Ensuring training aligns with business expectations and the 'Training Prospectus'
  • Collaborating with the training team to ensure consistency of training materials
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders to address training needs
  • Delivering KPIs in line with company expectations
  • Updating information systems and maintaining accurate training records
  • Recording training attendance and issuing certificates

We are looking for:

  • AET Qualified – desirable but not essential; support for obtaining this is available
  • Level 3 CAVA (or equivalent) or working towards
  • Level 4 Education and Training (or equivalent) or working towards
  • Assessor Qualification
  • Mental Health First Aider
  • Coaching or mentoring experience
