Join to apply for the Ambulance Care Assistant - Mental Health role at EMED Group. We have a fantastic opportunity for an Ambulance Care Assistant (Secure Mental Health) to join our amazing team based in Hertfordshire. You will support the police and other professionals by transporting service users to and from healthcare facilities as part of a three‑person team. Full UK driving licence and full training are required. We offer two shift patterns: Monday‑Friday 8‑hour shifts or 12‑hour 4‑on/4‑off covering the full week, including night shifts.

Main Duties
- Work as part of a team to support the service user on board
- Take responsibility for ensuring the vehicle is safely driven
- Assist service users with challenging behaviour and/or mental health illnesses
- Provide physical intervention when required for challenging service users
- Transport vulnerable service users between hospitals, homes, prisons and medical/care settings
