We are seeking an enthusiastic Land Management Operative to join our team.
Salary: £24,390 – £27,681 per annum
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Location: The Old Ragged School, Brook Street, Nottingham, NG1 1EA
You will primarily work on-site, with minimal requirement to visit the office. Travel will be necessary, so a full driving licence is essential.
EMEC is a growing business delivering projects across the East Midlands and beyond. This is an exciting opportunity to join our experienced and friendly Land Management team.
Your work will involve delivering habitat and site management contracts in Nottinghamshire and surrounding areas, including grassland, woodland, scrub, and wetland management, as well as survey, monitoring activities, and event delivery.
We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference and help nature’s recovery, with experience in practical conservation and countryside management work.
Work may involve travel, overnight stays, and working in challenging terrains using heavy equipment, such as on steep slopes and in adverse weather conditions.
Unlike many ecological consultancies, we aim to do the best for nature, with all profits gift-aided to the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust to support conservation efforts directly.
