We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Manager with a strong background in Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBC) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and driving the commercial activities of the business, managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the company.
While the role is remote, candidates should be based in or around the Midlands area, as occasional travel to client sites or head office may be required.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute commercial strategies aligned with company goals.
- Oversee the pricing, tendering, and contract management for FIBC products and services.
- Lead business development initiatives to grow the customer base, with a focus on FIBC products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Identify new business opportunities, including market trends and emerging needs within the FIBC sector.
- Negotiate and close commercial agreements with customers, suppliers, and other key partners.
- Work closely with the operations and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution of contracts and customer requirements.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to keep the business competitive.
- Prepare reports, forecasts, and analyses on sales performance and market conditions.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all commercial activities.
- Proven experience in a Commercial Manager role, specifically within the FIBC (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers) industry.
- Strong understanding of the FIBC market, including products, supply chain, and customer needs.
- Demonstrable experience in business development and managing client relationships.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
