The Opportunity
Salary:Β£27,274 to Β£27,709 per annum
Working pattern: Full time - 37 hours per week
Contract type: Permanent
Location:Based at County Hall - Chichester, with hybrid working options.
We are looking for a pragmatic and organised person who can successfully manage day to day HR support and administration. Previous experience in an administrative role is essential to succeed in this role. You will work as part of a team lead by a Senior HR Business Partner which includes HR Business Partners and Advisors. The team support with generalist HR enquiries as well as other HR activities which gives variety to the role and could include organisational change or employee relations.
You will have developed listening and IT skills to enable you to produce accurate notes during meetings. You will have good customer service and communication skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office to deliver your day-to-day role.

Some of the key skills, experience and knowledge required to be successful in the role include:
- Demonstratable experience in an administrative role with the ability to complete tasks accurately with strong attention to detail.
- Effective interpersonal and customer service skills to be able to provide basic advice and guidance to managers on general enquiries.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to enable clear and concise communication with others.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office to deliver data and information in a clear and meaningful way.
- Ability to manage data, both business and employee, in a confidential manner with discretion and sensitivity.
- Ability to plan and prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlines and objectives.
- Being able to identify new ways of working to support change and develop solutions.
