EMEA Recruitment is partnering with a global manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Plant Manager for its flagship manufacturing site near in Wiltshire. This is a highly visible leadership role, offering the opportunity to lead the company's largest manufacturing site and play a key role in shaping its future. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will build on an already successful transformation programme, driving operational excellence while developing a high-performing leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day performance of a complex manufacturing site
  • Drive operational excellence across safety, quality, delivery and cost
  • Coach, develop and mentor the site leadership team
  • Continue the site's cultural transformation, embedding a proactive, continuous improvement mindset
  • Build strong relationships across the business, including employee representatives and unions
  • Maintain a visible leadership presence on the shop floor, engaging with teams at every level
  • Deliver sustainable improvements in productivity, performance and profitability

About You

We are looking for an experienced manufacturing leader who can demonstrate:

  • Previous Plant Manager or Site Manager experience within a complex manufacturing environment
  • A strong engineering or technical background
  • A proven track record of leading operational and cultural change
  • Exceptional people leadership, coaching and team development skills
  • Experience working within a unionised manufacturing environment would be advantageous
