An international group is looking for a Group Financial Controller – International Governance & Reporting to own the day-to-day accounting for its UK entities.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a hands‑on, standalone role focused on accurate financial records, statutory reporting, SAP support, and audit coordination.

This role is based central London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Group's financial reporting and statutory compliance for the UK consolidating entity across multiple international jurisdictions.
  • Manage the year-end statutory audit, acting as the key contact for external auditors.
  • Oversee Group consolidations, governance, transfer pricing and Pillar Two compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP and evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Drive improvements to financial reporting processes, controls and governance frameworks.
  • Support the implementation of ERP system.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders, providing technical accounting expertise and financial insight.
  • Proactively identify risks, resolve issues and help shape the Group's finance and governance framework within a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience in Accounting, Reporting, or Audit
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP or IFRS
  • Knowledge of IFRS 10
  • Experience preparing statutory financial statements
  • Hands‑on ERP experience (SAP strongly preferred)
  • Comfortable working independently and with senior stakeholders
