EMEA Recruitment is excited to partner with a global leader, delivering environmentally responsible and technically advanced solutions, in their search for a HR Business Partner to join their team based in Leeds. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for implementing HR policies, managing administrative processes, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and workplace standards. You will work closely with colleagues and managers to promote a productive and safe work environment while addressing HR-related needs effectively. We are looking for a proactive and organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Key responsibilities of the HR Business Partner:
- Recruitment and Onboarding - supporting end-to-end recruitment for technical, skilled, and operational roles
- Employee Relations & Engagement - being the first point of contact for HR queries, employee relations matters and day-to-day people issues
- Supporting managers with ER processes
- Building trusted relationships across the workforce
- Ensuring HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation
- Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with employment, health and safety, and workplace regulations
- Working closely with SHEQ teams on safety processes
- Supporting performance review cycles, documentation and follow-up actions
- Contributing to HR initiatives such as engagement
- Supporting the analysis of HR metrics and people data
- Helping to embed new processes, systems and ways of working as the business evolves
Experience Required:
- Proven experience in a HR role, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, or construction
- Strong capability in handling HR data accurately
- Confidence working at pace, managing multiple priorities
- Demonstrable experience engaging directly with colleagues and managers across different levels of the business
- Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Confident user of HR systems and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
- Comfortable spending time both in the office and engaging with operational teams on site
