Our client, a leading FMCG company, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Director to take ownership of Global Capex and MRO spend across manufacturing sites worldwide.
This is a strategic leadership role with high visibility, managing global procurement strategy and building strong partnerships with stakeholders and suppliers.
Key responsibilities of the Procurement Director:
• Define and deliver the global procurement strategy for Capex & MRO
• Driving cost efficiency, supplier performance, and operational excellence
• Lead and develop an international procurement team
• Manage supplier selection, negotiations, and contracts
• Collaborate closely with global engineering and local manufacturing teams
• Monitor markets, identify risks, and adapt procurement strategies to ensure supply chain resilience
Candidate Profile
• 15+ years’ experience in Procurement, with strong exposure to Capex and category management.
• Proven leadership experience, managing diverse teams and engaging with senior stakeholders
• Strong negotiation skills and experience with large-scale budgets in complex environments
• Background in FMCG, manufacturing, or global operations is highly desirable
• Strong influencing, communication, and change management skills; adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced setting
