EMEA Recruitment is exclusively partnered with a global power brand and market leader in the consumer goods sector in their search for a Commercial Strategy & Revenue Growth Manager. This is a high-stakes challenge for a commercially hungry professional to bridge the gap between complex data and real-world sales impact. The role focuses on owning the commercial roadmap for a multimillion-pound portfolio, leading the business through a period of digital and analytical evolution. It involves navigating the brand’s digital maturity by performing deep-dive analysis and helping to build next-generation econometric models, directly influencing the strategy for the largest retail players in the UK & Nordics.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver the 4Ps strategy across the UK, Ireland, and Nordics to drive sustainable category growth.
- Act as the strategic interface between Sales and Finance, ensuring all promotional proposals are commercially right-sized and align with portfolio profitability.
- Lead the transition from manual data analysis to more sophisticated digital maturity, leveraging ePOS and Nielsen data to challenge the status quo.
- Collaborate with Category and Insights teams to optimize data flows, improve performance, and enable effective go-to-market execution for product innovations.
- Represent the brand in high-level meetings with major grocery retailers, defending pricing strategies and providing authoritative category growth recommendations.
- Monitor and troubleshoot commercial performance, utilizing pricing elasticity models to provide clear storytelling for senior internal and external stakeholders.
Experience and qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Business, Finance, Economics, or similar.
- At least 5 years’ experience in Revenue Growth Management, Category Management, or Commercial Finance within the FMCG sector.
- Strong proficiency in manual data manipulation (Excel/SQL) alongside experience with ePOS and Nielsen data sets.
- Ability to articulate complex financial narratives and influence senior decision-makers in fast-paced retail settings.
- Experience with pricing elasticity or econometric modelling is highly advantageous.
