My client is a leading provider of specialist mechanical and technical services to the construction sector with a particular focus on general and data centre developments. This employer offers free travel to work and will allow working from home on Fridays.

With a continued increase flow of business, they are seeking an experienced paralegal/legal executive with a minimum of 4 years’ experience of successfully negotiating the following:

  • Sub-contract terms and conditions with our sub-contractors
  • Purchase terms and conditions with suppliers of kit and materials to us

An excellent knowledge of contract law is required (and ideally experience in the construction sector). The successful candidate will be required to work with a minimum of supervision (although support will of course be available if required).

The sub-contracts and purchase orders can often be in the multi millions with very tight deadlines. Due to the high number of sub-contracts and purchase orders required to be agreed at any one time, an excellent ability to organise and prioritise is required, as is managing the procurement schedule.

The successful candidate will be part of a well-regarded and very friendly Legal Team (currently 4). Whilst the vast majority of the role is to negotiate and manage the agreeing of contractual terms and conditions of our supply chain, there will be some opportunity to become involved in legal projects across the business.
