Role Overview

What you will do
- Install and modify electrical components and systems, including 1st fix containment, 2nd fix installations, power & lighting, and commissioning.
- Carry out all testing and inspection to enable completion of certification.
- Assist the Project Manager / Supervisor with required information to compile estimates / quotations as needed.
- Conform to safety rules and apply good engineering and safety practices.
- Install tray, ladder, conduits, etc. as per construction drawings.
- Willing to undertake company standard internal training workshops and complete all mandatory training.
- Provide information on progress of the project as per Project Programme & follow RAMS.
- Red line drawings as required and as works progress.
- Ensure compliance and escalates any issues affecting availability, health, safety, and security of the site.
- Work in secure and sensitive environments and adhere to all current company and Critical Engineering Management policies.
Who you will be
- Qualified to City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 & 2 or equivalent NVQ; C&G 2382‑10 18th Edition, minimum requirements.
- Hold C&G 2391‑10 Inspection & Testing.
- Preferred: C&G 2391‑20 Design & Verification.
- Experience of commercial electrical installations.
- Experience of installation of LV distribution systems.
- Experience of DC /UPS system advantageous, not essential.
- Experience of safe working practices and permit to work systems.
- Basic computer literacy to use electronic tablets and phones.
- Demonstrable skills in dealing with internal and external customers and suppliers on complex issues.
- Effective communication and flexible approach to work patterns.
- First Aid, IPAF and PASMA training provided if required; advantageous if already certified.
- Preferably hold SMSTS, SSSTS or IOSH.
- Must obtain and maintain national security clearance.
