  • Conduct preventative maintenance on machines and equipment by checking for smooth operation and replacing worn and defective parts, as per the scope of the contract.
  • Identify damage to assets outside the contract scope, produce a bill of materials, and estimate repair times.
  • Support the statutory inspection team in identifying non-compliant equipment; LEEA training would be advantageous.
  • Assist in preparing estimates and quotations.
  • Conform to safety rules and apply good engineering and safety practices.
  • A multi-skilled background with a good understanding of aerospace ground support equipment and electrical systems would be advantageous.

  • Develop relationships with clients and work within a team of approximately 20 staff.
  • Ensure continuous improvement and value for money.
  • Willing to work in secure and sensitive environments on manned sites.

This role does not involve staff management. It requires a commercially aware engineer capable of delivering planned maintenance, identifying out-of-scope work, and producing data for quotes. The applicant will also manage and escort contractors/suppliers on site as needed, be aware of the contract’s financial position, and support efficient task completion.
